Not really fond of square comp. but this works so well here! Great poses with back lit ears and baby is a bonus here.

Great timing! I love the formation of the wallabies.

I love that they’re all giving you good eye contact, even the joey. Good stuff Sandy. Nice light to show the perked up ears.

The square crop is perfect…I am more and more enjoying square crops.
Maybe just Instagram, or maybe square crops just fell out of fashion in the photography world.
I also like the DOF, I also don’t think everything needs to be in focus…

Thanks, Dan - I never hesitate to use a square crop when that works best. Sometimes, it’s the only crop that makes sense. I’m never bound by “rules” as they can change with the wind.
