A Coot with a Reed

Last year a small pier was added for birders and photographers to view birds up close in this wetlands pond.

This coot was entertaining to watch from this vantage point I could observe its antics, and watch it feed, it was great.

Shirley, I thought so too, I’ve photographed Coots for years and had never seen this, so I was quite happy.
