A Pair of Bushtits

Pertinent technical details or techniques to help others learn:

I don’t often see these little birds around here. When I was up in the mountains east of here last week a good size group of them came in (20 or 30 birds). They even managed to sit still long enough to have their portraits taken! Fun little subjects.

Nice. Lucky to get them in the open and sitting still. Looks as if you had good light. How does your Olympus compare to your Canon gear?

Very cute birds that don’t get the photographic attention they deserve. A very nice pair, Keith.

Nice double Keith! Great job on the focus with both birds!

Nice capture of these two, Keith! It’s interesting that the gray tones of their plumage so closely matches the dead tree limb.

Terrific twofer. These little photogenic birds are really quick. Good job catching them in the open.
