This is an image taken some days ago in biosphere reserve Wienerwald (Vienna Woods), in Lower Austria just west of Vienna. We enjoyed the mystic atmosphere on this overcast day. Lighting conditions allowed to show all the delicate details of the snow covered trees.

Wow, that is a LOT of trees. The blue color conveys the cold nicely, and even though it’s quite busy, it’s more of a abstract-type busy than an element-clutter type busy.
Peter, to me an image with cold winter power. Also because of the busy composition that I like !
The strong blue color works well here because this is almost an abstract - “reality” is irrelevant. The touches of orange and red from the remaining leaves are gorgeous, as are the snowy branches. Just lovely.
