Alignment

In preparation for the conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn last year, I planned on photographing for the 4 days leading up to the conjunction so that I could fine-tune the alignment with an interesting foreground. I chose a location close to home so that I could visit it multiple times without taking time off work. The first of those four days coincided with a crescent moon and I lost 2 days due to bad weather. Even though I was able to photograph on the day of conjunction and got a good alignment with some trees on a ridge-line, this 2 image panorama shot 5 days before the conjunction is my favorite
