American Goldfinch

The Goldfinches, like many birds, seem to prefer drinking directly from a drip rather than the pool below. This juvenile had landed to do so, but I preferred this pose to the drinking one. Posted here because of the obviously man-made drip.

Sony A1, FE 200-600 + 1.4 TC @ 840 mm, tripod with gimbal mount from blind, f/9, 1/200, iso 2000, fill flash at -2 EV, manual exposure. Processed in LR & PS CC. Cropped to 6376x5504, otherwise just minor adjustments. Taken yesterday at 2:03 PM.
