Balancing act

This is either a yellow warbler or a juvenile Wilson’s warbler. I’m not sure. I did like the action and the landing pose. I get very few warblers in my area and typically see one or two per year. So this is always a treat.

Nice look at the Warbler. The motion blur of the foot adds an element of interest. Nice perch and background as well.

This is very nice. The pose and the movement in the foot all add to the image. Nice work with the fill flash. It looks very natural.

I’d go with the Yellow, David. I can see faint breast striped in your image, and all the others have duller backs. Interestingly, I don’t see any reference to those bright feet for any warbler. A really cool image.

Hi David,

Wonderful pose and I like the action with the head tack sharp. Go with yellow warbler for now. Well done…Jim

Hi David
Vary nicely framed Yellow Warbler and the fill flash was a good idea.

Sweet!! Lovely IQ, light, perch and BG!

So cute! I love the foot action! Looks like a gawky teenager still growing into their big feet!
