Any pertinent technical details:

A Collared Aracari after a spa treatment. You never know where one will find a particular species. This one was spotted (which was on the side of the road) from our bus by our guide. We were able to stop, get out, take photos and not spook it.

iso 1600, 500mm, f7.1, 800th. D500, handheld, no flash, 80 % of full frame

Superb detail in the blacks, David, and a nice inquisitive looking pose. The barbed wire is interesting. I don’t think I’ve ever seen it don this way. It looks like the core is galvanized, but the barbs are just plain steel.
