Our son’s acreage near Redding is FULL of western bluebirds and acorn woodpeckers.

I don’t remember this one, Sandy. Neat to get two males together like this. The difference in their plumage interests me. I wonder if one was a first year adult and the other a bit older? Excellent job on the depth of field.
