Mark, this lone snag looks quite stark and a bit threatening, especially with the ruffled clouds at the top. Your b&w treatment looks very good. However, I don’t see much forest and my goal in creating this topic was to challenge folks (including myself) to come up with interesting pictures from within a forest.
