Churchill Sunset #1

On the way back to the guest house the Sun finally peaked out in time for a great sunset. The idea of the image was to capture the wonderful sky as well as convey the cold and wind. You can see the trees and snow blowing.

7D2 with 24-105 @ 112 f8 and 1/250 ISO 200. Handheld.

This is not a composite, but there was quite a bit of processing in Lightroom. I used several radial tools to bring out the colors and layers.

Really beautiful Ed, this does a great job of conveying a sense of place. I love how the drifting snow catches the sunset light, and creates a nice warm glow effect. The light here is gorgeous, and your processing has done of getting the most out of it.
