Color Checkers

Anybody use a color checker for nature / wildlife photography?
Seems they would be clunky to use in the field as far as mounting one to photograph, how often or when to photograph one, etc.

Always when light circumstances change dramatically or when using different cameras during a shoot. I carry my XRite Colorchecker Passport in my bag . The use is so easy and quick, why not? It can save hours of computer time.

I got a Spyder ColorCheckr 24, but a Passport may have been better, being much smaller. Just so expensive, by comparison.

The software is quite good.

Thanks
I still may get a Passport.
Seems to be a go-to so far, for us nature types.
Easy to use and carry out in the wild.
