There was a fresh snow fall in the high desert of Eastern Oregon last week and the ground squirrels at a rest area along Oregon 20 were not letting a few inches of white stuff deter them.

Is this a composite: No
A7Riv, FE200-600 @ 1.4 TC, hand held, f/10, 1/2000, iso 640, manual exposure. Processed in LR & PS CC. Cropped to 5472x3920. I exposed this to just barely avoid blowing the snow, so I brought up the squirrel in processing.

Sweet looking little fellow, Dennis. Yes, he does look very much like he is looking for spring. Nice composition with plenty of room for him to explore. Nicely done.
