I was looking through some old photos today and found this shot I took while staying at the Emerald Lake Lodge (would highly recommend it if you can swing it; the wild boar bacon in the mornings was superb). It’s not the most technically impressive photo as it was shot with an iPhone 7+, but I found the composition to be quite satisfying as well as the way the clouds had broken that day. It was our only day with blue skies and also the day we left.
Duncan, the “picture window” framing works really well here. A beautiful snow covered peak and favorable sky.
Thanks Lon! I found the framing to be very pleasant.
I can feel the clean crisp air and the composition works really well.
