Energy

Waves flowing around a rock at one of my favorite beaches of the west coast in Portugal. I tried to capture the water movement in the foreground using a 1 sec exposure time. Last sunrays were touching the waves in the ocean and gave a warm light on the rocks and clouds. The scene was full of energy.

Equipment: Fuji XT3 with Fujinon 10-24 mm f/4 lens, 4-stop ND, tripod (15.9 mm, f/10, 1 sec, ISO 160)

Gorgeous, Ruben. I am just enjoying everything about this scene. A wall hanger.

Energy indeed is what you have captured! I love the patch of sand in the foreground untouched by water. It allows one to see the rushing waves coming in. If the rock was surrounded by the water, the scene would still be great, but the energy would be absent. In any case, the setting light on the cliffs and clouds are a nice touch. Yeah, I agree with the previous reply, I’m liking everything with this scene!
