Another image from my fall trip to GSMNP. I was really captivated by the tree in the center of this image. However…I wasn’t willing to climb down to get a closer shot. I spent lots of time trying to find a composition and this is what I finally settled on.

What a nice peaceful scene, Jon. Your patience paid off. The colors are great, clearly an overcast day. I like the shutter speed you chose for the water. No nits from me on this one. Just sit back and enjoy it.
The zig-zag of the brook is nice, although I wish there was a slightly wider view. The golden foliage is nice against the greens in the moss and what I think might be laurel on the left. Harmonious and well organized and I especially like that the water is a mix of tannins and white, not blue!
Beautiful! My only suggestion is print and hang!
