Glorious Morning

The Marin Range is reflected on the Olds River, which heads in an unnamed lake below the Range, flows NE 13 miles, the last few as meanders, on its way to empty into Kalsin Bay on Kodiak Island.

Beautiful winter scene, Bob. Thanks for sharing with the NPN community.

Thank you, Linda, for your kind remarks. I must confess, though, this was captured in May and it was still snowing on some days! There is a saying in Alaska—Spring comes late; Summer is short; Fall comes Early and Winter is LONG. You can experience three seasons in three months—June, July and August.

In Texas we have a similar saying, only it goes like this: Spring comes early, Summer is long and hot, Fall is short and hot . . .and Winter is very, very short! :joy: . . .Which is why I so enjoy your photo. Thanks again for posting it.
