Composition works nicely for me, Patricia. I see a crop of the reeds at the top down to the water line, however that also changes the whole image to a very abstract one. The real reeds act as a grounding for the eye.
I do have several options of these reflections. Some without the reeds. I agree an abstract is easy on the eyes.
This is a very cool find, Patricia. The reflection of the reeds is almost psychedelic looking.I like @David_Bostock’s crop suggestion as this would be even more of an abstract. Great eye to spot this scene.
I’m thoroughly enjoying the swirling effect that the water has on the reed reflections, Patricia. I also like the shift from sky reflection to reed reflection angled across the frame. Including the reeds adds a fun touch of reality. A version with out the reeds would be totally abstract, very nice with a significantly different feeling.
