A very neat shot, John. I think the composition works though the blue outline on th out of focus leaves at the top is a bit distracting. For some reason, your larger image isn’t any larger than the small one.

That is quite a catch! Love the prey and the eye contact. IQ looks ok. For my tastes, i’d prefer it if the bird were lit rather than in shade. That blue fringing on the BG leaves is one of the first things I noticed also.
