Very pleasing pose with nice sharpness. I wonder about bringing out a little more lightness and contrast on the bird, but I know how dark the undersides can be.
I always wonder if those feathers sticking up mid-wing are the equivalent of spoilers on a sailplane, as I see them being deployed on the egrets I shoot as they make their final approach to a landing.
