Review of resource:

Colin Bell is my favorite landscape photographer. I pre-ordered this book when he first announced it was coming out, and I pull it out often to get inspired and to just chill and enjoy his images. It certainly doesn’t hurt that many images are from the Lake District in the UK, which is such a beautiful, mysterious location for shooting. I admire Colin’s compositional style and techniques and find myself trying to emulate them when the conditions are right. I don’t know if this title is still available, but if it is, I highly recommend it.

Beautiful images, I just took a quick glance at his site and followed him on IG. Really nice.

You have a real gem there Bill. I scoured the internet and found some pricey copies here. The rest of us can view it through the video on this site: https://biblioscapes.com/library/healing, or we can all just come over to your place to see it in person :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

@David_Kingham , WOW, those copies are EXPENSIVE! I don’t remember what I paid for it, but it was certainly much cheaper than that! If I had know it would be priced at that level I would have bought 10 copies!!

There are lots of stunning images on his website I can see why he’s your favorite photographer. Are all those images shot with large format film? His intimate do look like Eliot Porter images. I know a lot of people like to compare to him but they really do have Porter’s sensitivity to scenes.
