Joy! My orchids are starting to bloom!
They love Jim’s new greenhouse/wood shop, even as it’s 48 degrees and pouring outside.

Sandy: A beautiful portrait of a beautiful flower. Many kudos.>=))>

Hi Sandy,

Calypso is a very difficult orchid to grow. It is practically extinct in Michigan as it requires a very specific set of growing conditions. The lighting is awesome. For the viewers, this flower and plant are tiny so this species is one of the most challenging orchids to photograph. Well done…Jim

Lighting and composition perfect for my taste, Sandy, the whole image beautifully presented. Wish I could see this even larger, as the details of the flower centre look so interesting

A beautiful variety of orchid… one I’ve never seen. Well done.

I really like this one!!! And I’m jealous you can grow orchids!!! Superb!

A regal portrait for this diva perfectly sharpen where it is needed. Splendid Sandy.
