Late Spring Hike & repost (crop & sepia) for Bill F

In the beginning of June 2 years ago just starting out I was practicing ICM techniques, but I thought the shutter speed needed to be fast. So the result was getting a few of the foreground flowers and buds very sharp with the BG blurred out. I kind of like the result, but would like other options.

Vanessa: Tough call for me on this one. I do like the sharpness and isolation on the main flower and the lighting which just says “Spring” so effectively. The bright OOF yellows in the BG are eye grabbers though. I made them go away and cropped a bit tighter. Back to you. >=))>

Hi @Bill_Fach , sorry for the delayed response. My month membership had expired so I couldn’t say anything! I just started up again for another month. I think I like the crop but I really like the background flowers as I think they balance the front ones out, but what do you think about this conversion to sepia which I think might make the whole image softer and more pleasing?..
