LCD monitor for hotshoe

As I have gotten older it is getting considerably more difficult to get down on my belly and shoot at ground or water level. The camera LCD is just too small. Has anyone had experience with between 5 inch and 7 inch lightweight LCDs that are At least high resolution. Most of the monitors I have looked at online seem to be video related. I need one that will work with both Sony and Nikon. I am aware that Sony does make one of these products however I think it was developed in 2011 and the resolution is around 640 by 800… It does however offer peaking for focus. What I don’t know is how well this will work for still images.
