This is beautiful, Sandy. Great detail in the bee especially.

Nice job, Sandy. You nailed the focus right where it needed to be.

Lovely image, Sandy. The bee is beautifully caught - great control of the highlights on the wings and everything sharp. The colours of the dahlia seem just right - my only query ( and it is but a query ) is whether getting the front stamens sharp as well would be even better - I’m not sure.

Ian, yes I think it WOULD be - gotta learn stacking! :upside_down_face:
Sandy

Wonderful colors and composition in this image. Critical focus is spot on.

Sandy: Great capture of the moment. Perfect DOF on the bee and a really nice perch. Many kudos. >=))>

Very pleasing colors and DOF to make the critter pop. It would’nt bee that difficult to stack or comosite to increase DOF.

David, haha - pun intended, I’m sure.
Sandy

Sandy, I like this as is. You probably could have picked up the front stamens around f/10—f/11. Stacking would be limited to a couple of exposures, as bees move around too much.
