Looking for focus stacking advice

I tell you what, It works with Capture One 20 where it has a plug-in specifically linked with Helicon Focus where Capture One automatically fires off the Fuji GFX Raw file and as far as I am aware X-trans Raw files directly into Helicon Focus where you do what you need to do with the focus stacking whereupon it automatically fires the exported stacked focus file back to Capture One 20 as a Tiff. The file looks very clean from what i can see and “worm free”.

Hi Ian, it’s not that it doesn’t work for X-trans files, but that it produces really weird results. You can kind of see the sensor pattern in the resulting file after stacking. It doesn’t happen to every file, but it’s fairly often so I gave up on that workflow unfortunately. I hope they can figure out the algorithm!
