Male Bullock's Oriole

I don’t see these at my place but some pals gave me a heads up that they were seeing Bullock’s Orioles down at their place so off I went seeking some shots of these beauties. I got extra lucky in that they were hanging out in a very interesting Curly Willow tree. This pose reminds me of an Audubon painting.

Dave: Such a great opportunity in what looks like a wonderful setting. The bird is beautiful with a lovely wing position. All that is great.

When I look at the larger version, there isn’t any plumage detail in the body of the bird. I see you used AI Clear. I have to assume that it completely wiped out any details you had in the bird. Hopefully you can re-process and apply NR selectively.

Setting is, indeed, lovely. Bird is very pretty. The dappled light works well here. But my first thought was the same as Keith’s. I’d definitely re-edit this without applying NR to the bird.
