What caught my attention immediately are the horizontal lines of the water, creating a nice contrast with the bald eagle. Also wishing I had half the patience of the eagle. Nicely done.
I also found the horizontal lines of the water to be quite enticing. The image of the Eagle in very pleasing light, breaks up the pattern and adds a lot of interest. I think you could eliminate between five and 10% of the right side of the image but that is a matter of personal preference. Excellent detail.
Beautiful light, Jim. I like the water and beach as well. The pose is wonderful. I agree with David that a bit off the right would make a fine image even a touch better.
Nice light and sharpness on the bird looks great. Love the interesting water too. Agree with taking a bit off the right side. Well seen and taken.
Thanks for the comments. I’ve cropped a bit off right. Too much? Not enough?
The repost looks good to me, Jim.
Hi Jim
Great looking Eagle, and I am voting for just moving the frame to the left and not cropping in on the Eagle. I really like the open space of the first photo. ( anyway great photograph)
