I liked the composition and placement of subjects in the frame, liked the diagonal trees as well, but the branches, which are passing behind the beck and head are not really supporting the image.

I agree - but there is the dilemma: Do I clone them out for esthetics, or leave them in for the ethics of wildlife photography?

A better image, but acceptable? Quick and dirty clone on the jpg, I can do better on the DNG :wink:
