The seasonal Black-headed Grosbeaks have just started showing up here. Yippee! Not only are the very colorful/cool looking but they have a really pleasant song for us. This was taken near our bird feeder.

Great capture, Dave. Nice angle of the perch and the OOF background (and colors) work very well in setting of the Grosbeak. Nicely seen.

Hi Dave, nice sharpness on the bird’s head and he is a beautiful subject. Nice background too. Minor nit would be to move the bird more to the left to get him off center. Nice image.
