November Storms on Lake Erie

November typically brings some strong storms and when the winds are from the south the waves pound on the north shore of Lake Erie. Winds were gusting up to 100 km/hr.

Shot hand held with a long lens and higher ISO to try to capture the waves. It was extremely windy so using a tripod may have help a bit but hard to react to the quick changing waves. Shooting bursts to try to capture peak action

Wow, these are both great, but the second image is truly amazing. The trailing spray on the second image sort of reminds me of the high speed images of fighter jets and their vapor cones. Very impressive work with these.
