I was fortunate to get some photo ops with a couple of what, for me, were new bat species during my Costa Rica tour in March. This pygmy round-eared bat was roosting inside an old termite nest found in a tree, so we were able to stand underneath and shoot straight up into its hole.

I was struggling to “identify” what is the object, but when I saw it…perfect! I have to double what @JRajput and @stevenm wrote and also add, that I like the use of negative space. Superb shot!
