Red Breasted Nuthatch juv


Okay, for some reason these juvenile nuthatches seem to prefer thicker perches. But I like the light on this one.

This is very pretty. IQ is perfect, and I really like that BG. Love the perch. If I’m remembering correctly, my issue with the perch in the other photo was that there was quite a bit of OOF perch coming into or out of the frame. But this works really well for me. The decay of the perch is pretty great. Only nit is that I wish the bird had turned its head about 1 or 2 degrees toward you but very nice as-is.
