I desaturated the reds in the flower a bit using NIK Viveza 2.

So awesome, Allen! Really super capture! It sounds like you have a really awesome natural set up close to home! I like both images but especially the first one as she’s more facing you.

Wonderful captures, with great detail on the hummers and very pleasing reds.

Nice poses, Allen, and a good job getting the focus nailed in both cases.

I can’t see both photos, or enlarge them due to the glitches in the system, but what I did see looked terrific, Allen. I planted some Cardinal flower last year in the hope of getting some shots like this this year, but it died. The best laid plans, huh? Anyway. dood detail and a nice composition. Well done.
