It was nice to get back to Tanzania at a different time of year (February) than when I’d visited previously. This allowed me to see some “new” species. This was my first encounter with the Southern red bishop. This one was pretty shy, sticking to the far side of a bush away from our vehicle, but I was able to barely find an angle to shoot through the foliage.
