Nikon DSLR at 52mm. Exposure was 1/60s, f/10, ISO 800. Post-processing in Lightroom - just basic exposure adjustments, clarity/sharpening, etc.
Mark, as with several other posts to this week’s theme, this does a great job of using a bright overcast sky to create a fine picture. The shape of the limbs and how they flow through the frame looks very good. That touch of sunstar is a neat extra. I see a few small areas with blown highlights away from the sun that catch my eyes in the larger view.
Hi Mark. I really like the way you handled this tree against a bright sky. Normally, as a bird photographer, this would be the background and I’d be cringing. As the subject, it works very well. In addition to Mark’s comments, I notice an area where the sky is blue that seems rather anomalous. It’s about 1/3 of the way up and just right of center.
