The Guardian 2nd try

I messed up on the first attempt to post this image - probably haven’t had enough coffee!

This has been a very busy summer. Lot’s of travel the very little nature photography, unfortunately.

This is from my South Africa trip. I loved the pose.

Great strong pose by this impala with nice out of focus background framing its head.
Overall the photo is a bit too busy for me and the second impala is a somewhat lost in the grass.
How about a crop to try to tighten in on the main animal?

So where were you in RSA?

I really like he way Impala is standing tall in he grasses.
May prefer to darken the mound behind grasses and a touch more room a he bottom, if possible.

I like this, Steve. The pose is excellent, and the hidden Impala below adds to the story for me. The rock or mound in front of the Impala does draw my eye a bit and I’d be tempted to blur the background a bit (it feels a bit “crunchy” to me).
