More birch bark…this time I think it was from a yellow birch, but I’m not sure. The forest floor enchants me…it’s messy and alive and complex. Normally my approach is to isolate a mushroom, but this time it was growing in a way that was too interesting - the bark, the bit of grass and the dying fern are all part of the magic of this little scene. Oh and I think the shroom is a hygrocybe cantharellus.
Specific Feedback Requested
Is it too much about the whole scene and not enough about the bark? The mushroom is pretty vivid…should I reduce the effect? I didn’t play with any of the color saturation or luminance for this.
