No idea of what the species is. Keep seeing this each year, and I love the buds.
I had some beautiful light through the scattered clouds…

The rim lighting is gorgeous and the black BG makes for a wonderful canvas for this lovely flower. My only suggestion is for a little detail; if you have it; in the open flower on the left side. I think that would make an outstanding image even better. Great shot.
