Did my high-ISO technique work?

Technical Details

Is this a composite: No
Leica Monochrom 1, Telyt V 280. I used ISO 10.000 to create the right amount of graininess to get a vintage look.

Hi,

The large version is awesome–lots of detail and it is very sharp. The high ISO used does not seem to negatively affect the overall image quality. The large version does not appear to be very grainy at all. I like the image as presented…Jim

Don’t forget, this is a fifty year old lens. The sharpness and grain-like noise are typical for the camera.

Love the pose and great details, those dried up twigs are bit distracting.

Love your crocodile, Jaapv! It looks like a vintage photo in black and white, like old time naturalists exploration photos! I really like it that way. He looks like he’s smiling at you!

Thanks! Yes, well, the twigs are clear in the sharpness, so I see what you mean, but then, they are part of his environment.
