Description

I recently got this sunset moment of a young tom turkey at our backyard birdbath/drinking fountain. I like the descriptive droplets, and facial details.

Specific Feedback

I’m always interested in cropping decisions. Is it okay that so much of his body is cropped out. It was done in an effort to concentrate on the drinking action.

Love it , Dave. The detail and lighting in the head hairs and the water droplets reflect nicely in the setting sun. IMHO, I like ‘ol Tom cropped the way you have him. For me, the quarter view adds interest, like he is just moving into the scene .

Oh that’s cool. Three turkeys came through yesterday, but no photos. Too skittish. And no birdbath, clearly a second-rate property!
