Whitetail Doe and Fawn

These two stepped out of the brush for a few minutes this Spring and hearing the shutter stared at me for a few seconds. Although the light was dappled the pose made me really like this one.

Thoughts on the lighting ? The positioning of these two I found amazing. Really complemented each other. Any comments and critiques appreciated.

Such a sweet image of the mom and baby. I think the lighting is good. A slight shadow on mom but it isn’t distracting. Great capture.

This is a great capture, Andrew. I love the looks that both are giving you. I like that the mom is facing one way, and the baby the other, yet you have the attention both. I am fine with the lighting.

I really like low perspective here Andrew, it allows you to feel close to the animals.
The background vegetation’s very vivid on my screen but it adds to a bright image.

I just love the setting and poses and the low POV too.
I do find he bright BG bit distracting.

Sweet image, Andrew. The deer are a bit centered, but with them looking opposite directions and the direct head turns, I think it works.
