Wild Azalea #2

For me, the most striking feature of the wild azalea blooms is the long upsweeping curve of the stamens and pistils. This view does a better job of showing that off than my previous post. (5D3, 180mm macro L, 1/40 s, f/20, iso 400, tripod)

Comp looks good. You handled the light very well and about the only thing that would improve the image is softer lightiung. Other than that, very nice image…Jim

I love the composition of this image - the way the azalea occupies the exact center of the frame and “reaches” for the edges. I also think the background is perfect, and the effects at the top right add some nice visual interest. My only recommendation would be to take down the highlights slightly, just to make sure that all those pink tones are represented nicely. Overall a beautiful image!
