Wild Pony

I took this at Chincoteague NWR last spring. They were out on the road and near people, which was most unusual. I could have reached out and touched them at times. I didn’t of course.

It just makes me wonder that wild horse can be so beautiful ! The same thing applies to elephant calves I photograph, they are so beautiful in the wild, never came across a beautiful (domestic) elephant calf.
Coming back to picture, you may add little canvas at the bottom and tone down the grayish branch behind the pony.

Hi Shirley,

I concur with Jagdeep’s suggested edits. The pony is very snug in the frame. Pinto ponies are quite photogenic as you discovered…Jim
