A common subject during my spring Yellowstone tours, marmots can still provide some fun and interesting moments from time to time. In this case, the repeating pointed contours were impossible to ignore!

Oh Max, I am enjoying the repeated pointed contours. The rock is even shaped somewhat similar to the Marmots features, so this works well. Normally we try to avoid the shadows, but in this case, it worked to your advantage. 
Love the head shot and the resulting patterns…adding depth to the image.
