Your Inner Child

…is always there. That was my thought upon looking down at my feet in an overgrown yard in Mendocino County.

What technical feedback would you like if any? What artistic feedback would you like if any?

Any comments welcome. I don’t have any particular concerns.

Pertinent technical details or techniques:

Single frame, a73r, 24-105mm @ 57mm, f/8, 1/320s, ISO 400

Like complex pattern of interlaced grass. Maybe bring more texture and tone down color?

This sort of reminds me of some intimate abstract images that I have taken of colorful seaweed on rocks along the seacoast. The splash of yellow and green here create a story about the contrast between death/decay and fresh/new.

This is a matter of personal taste, but I find the bottom 20% or so of the image to be relatively less interesting, and would recommend a crop from the bottom. Your vignette along both the top and (especially the) bottom edges also feels slightly heavy to me, and would perhaps dial that back a bit.
