These youngsters seemed to be having a good beach day. I didn’t read anything into this, it was just a couple of kids enjoying each other’s company. It was seasonably cool on the beach and they were bundled up, just chatting.

Very nice little story here. The kid’s expressions are lively and unforced. The blanket adds a nice touch of color.

I like this, Phil. You have plenty of environment to set the scene,the blanket makes a nice statement as well and does a great job of joining the participants, and the laughing faces cap it off.

Got to like it, Phil ! I echo Dennis’ sentiments - the frieze-like arrangement with the brightly coloured blanket in the middle draws you in to the way the two figures relate. Incidentally, I would have thought this was mother and child - but maybe just an elder sister ?
