Made it to the rose garden while there was an overcast sky. Decided to use Photoshop paint filter because of noise related to my large crop.

Canon 5ds-r with 180mm macro lens using tripod and flash , f-18, 1/60 sec and iso 500.

A very pleasing composition, Wayne. I think the paint in PS works well with this image.

A nice idea to come in close and a nice composition. I think it would be stronger to include a little more canvas on the bottom and left. At ISO 500, if the exposure was close to normal, I would think you could manage the noise well with Topaz DeNoise.
