Wrentits always make me think of the angry bird game the kids play.

Hi Allen,

I like the comp with stare down in the second image. The first image is pretty good, but I wish for more of the lower part of the bird less concealed. They do look angry or grumpy. Well done…Jim

I like both of these quite a bit. I am enjoying the behavior and pose in the second image and the background in the first. Both are excellent with respect to detail, color. I agree with Jim regarding the first image crop.

Both of these are excellent, Allen. As a fan of partially hidden birds the bit of vegetation in front of the first bird’s belly doesn’t bother me a bit.

Cute catches, both! I don’t miss the feet – the perky tail makes up for it! Normally I like creamy BGs but here I like the BG in the second one the most. It’s nicely OOF but complements and supports the perch. It’s nice how the warmer colors in the lower left area are providing a slightly heavier visual weight distribution toward the base of the image.
