Wonderful lighting and tonalities on both the rose and the muted BG! I love the sharpness and subtle light on the tiny leaf.
I’d be inclined to add a little more canvas on top.

You rarely see a black and white treatment of a rose. The lighting works well for BW–strong enough, but not overpowering. As Diane stated, if you can squeeze out a little extra more room on top, the comp will be strengthened. Well done…Jim
